We Are Bata People: Naeem Saad Malik Sends In a Selfie

Bata people have always been at the heart of the organization. Naeem Saad Malik gave us a look at a group of goal achievers from a Bata factory in Pakistan.

How do you fit into the Bata world?

My job title is plant manager of Maraka Pakistan, responsible for all the activities of manufacturing at the plant and achieving the manufacturing goals and budgeted targets.

Who is in your selfie?

My team – including production officers, engineering, quality controllers, the industrial relations officer, ABU officer, and direct operators.

What does it show? What is the story behind it?

It shows that if the entire team makes efforts as a team, they always achieve the desired results and the team achieves the set targets with very high productivity – i.e., 300 pairs per hour. So this selfie is with the "goal achiever team." We are near the PU machine in the main production hall of the Maraka plant.

What do you like most about your job?

My job is very challenging. Being in charge of manufacturing at the plant, I face different types of challenges every day and every moment. When I overcome a challenge we face with my skills, passion and dedication I like it most.
