The shopping mall organized a spin-the-wheel game for customers that was held from March to May. Any customer who made a purchase of at least 700 Czech crowns could spin the wheel for a chance to win prizes.
The award was based on the store’s performance in the competition, such as how many Bata customers played the game and how many said they were satisfied with the store.
The shopping center held the competition, called "Searching for the Heart of Avion," in celebration of its 15th anniversary.
The Bata store won 10,000 Czech crowns to be spent on teambuilding activities, while consumer prizes included five new TVs and five new video consoles.
Category competitors included Desigual, Douglas, Tommy Hilfiger, NorthFace, Office Shoes, S. Oliver, Promod, Sephora, Starbucks, Tescoma, Top Shop and Vans.
"Every day in operations we receive messages from consumers regarding their level of satisfaction with our services. Some of them are praising us, some of them complaining, some of them just comments or proposals,” commented Tomáš Novotný, store operations director for Bata Czech Republic. “This award is an objective confirmation that we do things right and even better than our competitors. I feel proud and happy for that, and it improves my and my team’s motivation for upcoming work goals."
