Bata India Branching Out with New Flagship Store in Kerala

The contemporary fashion focus of Bata India’s new collections has been received phenomenally well in the country's Metro and Tier I cities, and now the Bata India team is going one step further and introducing Bata's new, stylish brand in Tier II and Tier III markets.

The launch event was conducted by young, dynamic Indian actress Gayathri Arun, who is a prominent face from Malayalam television shows, and helped to generate a great deal of publicity for the new opening.

Speaking at the launch, Arun showed her enthusiasm for the latest Bata products, stating: “I am really excited to be a part of Bata’s flagship store launch here in Thodupuzha. Bata today has the widest collection that combines style and comfort – both for men and women. One can find a complete range of footwear fashion, all at one place. It’s the best fashion destination for every modern woman. I am especially in love with the latest Bata ladies’ collection, which celebrates modern femininity.”

The 3,000 square-foot flagship store is a unique retail space in Thodupuzha, with its clutter free aesthetics creating a classy and stylish shopping experience for customers. Some of the top collections at the store include Bata’s new Spring/Summer 2017 contemporary collection, the international Bzees collection and the entire ranges from Scholl, Hush Puppies and Power.

Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, President for South Asia, commented: “We are very excited about our new flagship store in Kerala. Keeping in mind the evolving tastes of modern India, we have ramped up our offerings and are now speaking the language of the youth, both in terms of our products and the customer experience.
