Fashion is far from complete without a well-designed pair of shoes. This marketing insight prompted Bata to introduce a number of designer collections for men, women and children in its 2014 Spring Summer season.
The recent fashion show at Bashundhara Mall unveiled the stunning collection made up of brands like Bata, Ambassador, Marie Claire, Moccassino, Weinbrenner, Bata Comfit, Patapata, Power, North Star and Bubblegummers. The country’s top fashion models showcased fresh and colorful spring/summer styles. Uncompromising quality with striking designs put this year’s new arrivals in a key position to appeal to different segments of consumers. The fashion show was divided in different categories and lifestyles, perfectly in line with the latest trends.
Kumar Nitesh, Company Manager of Bata Bangladesh, inaugurated the auspicious occasion and later commented: “Nowadays worldwide trends change rapidly in a very short period of time. The fashion show was an excellent opportunity for us to show how our latest collection matches with everyday wear. Bata brings lifestyle with comfort, and within a reachable range for customers. The fashion show definitely created sensation in the locality and increased sales”.
Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, IPIBS Group Managing Director, Fernando Garcia, GMD West and other senior executives of Bata Bangladesh were also present at the event.
The fashion show received extensive press and media coverage, creating excitement among its target customer groups in the shopping mall, which undoubtedly also contributed in boosting Bata’s business.
